Kathy Bosheers' Background
Kathy Bosheers was elected to a four year term as Township Clerk in November 2008. She is a Commissioner for the RWB Parks and Recreation Commission, Macomb Orchard Trail and the Romeo District Library Board. Kathy also serves on the Executive, Finance and Personnel Committees for the Township.
Her extensive resume includes a 23-year career in quality systems management for the manufacturing and automotive industry. Her credentials include a degree in Local Government Administration from Central Michigan University and certification from the U.S. Army Management & Engineering College. As a consultant to large Michigan corporations, Kathy honed her skills as a speaker, trainer and facilitator, conducting numerous seminars and workshops on the topics of productivity, strategic planning and organizational change.
Kathy has also owned a local bagel shop giving her a unique perspective to relate to small business owners in a slow economy.
Kathy has shown dedication to the community while serving as a volunteer for the Romeo Community Schools including, President of the Washington Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. She has been a youth basketball coach and leads the Romeo Raptors Girls AAU Basketball Program.
Kathy and her husband, Patrick, have lived in Washington Township over 19 years. Their son is a graduate of Romeo High School and is currently attending the College for Creative Studies. Their daughter is a student at Romeo High School.
